In these languages, the queen in chess or in card games is usually called by the same term as the kings in checkers. A case in point includes the Greek terminology, in which checkers is called "" (dama), which is also one term for the queen in chess.
Dama, or Turkish checkers, is a variant of checkers played in Mediterranean basin countries such as Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Lebanon, and various Middle Eastern countries such as Bahrain. In Dama, pieces move horizontally and vertically, instead of diagonally as in English draughts or American checkers.

Traditionally, Indians use sesame oil, mustard oil, or groundnut oil in pickles. These days, since olive oil is marketed heavily as the best oil for health, people have started substituting the traditionally used oil with olive oil. However, it's best when not heated. I have prepared pickles using ricebran oil too.
